Totem and Connect collaborated to create an intuitive app that allowed attendees to personalise their experience, and navigate their own path through the event.
Downloading and knowing how to use the app was essential. The welcome message was ‘welcome to the show, have you downloaded the app? If you haven’t, you need to do that now. The app is your personal user journey and will enhance the show experience’ Everything in one place; meetings, appointments, gamification, navigation, notifications, chats, agenda, information about sponsors and evening socials.
An intuitive and inclusive meetings booking system allowed attendees to stay connected, with peer to peer scanning through QR codes adding an extra layer of networking – 10,143 QR codes scanned. Marketplace appointments and RSVP notifications for socials led to high attendance rates, greatly pleasing sponsors.
