Richardson
Mid Level Front End Engineer
Rex is a front-end developer with over nine years of experience building web and mobile apps. He launched his first App Store app at the age of thirteen. Drawing on his strong background in UI design, a keen eye for user experience, and a lot of caffeine, he ensures Totem delivers one of the most user-friendly B2B event apps. Among his credentials, Rex is also the winner of Totem’s Caffeine Connoisseur Award.

Samantha
Roythorne
Managing Director
Sam has worked in the events sector for over a decade, co-ordinating and managing events in locations around the world including Singapore, Rome, New York and Birmingham. As Managing Director of Totem, she is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business, delivering excellent services to our exceptional range of clients. In her spare time, Sam loves watching F1 and pretending Swindon’s ‘magic roundabout’ is in fact Eau Rouge.

Alvaro
Fuentes
Senior Designer
Alvaro is a senior designer who works with 2D and 3D animations for bespoke AV installations and large-format MediaWalls. He also works as an editor and with onsite camera work covering events, filming sessions and interviews. He loves animals, music and tapas at all times of the day.

Through Totem, Shields has not only adapted to a post-pandemic world but also set a new standard for how events can engage audiences, prioritise sustainability, and harness data—all while staying true to his roots in audience connection and industry collaboration.

Campbell
Financial Controller
David is a commercially driven and hands-on financial lead for Totem. Over 10 years post-qualification experience. During which he has mostly worked across different creative industries, most recently Film and Television. Now he really loves the hybrid of digital technology and creative process that Totem embodies. David enjoys getting involved in all areas of finance and accounting, considered a jack of all trades, (and self-proclaimed) master of all.

Sufi recently graduated from uni and has just begun her journey at Totem as an Account Intern! With a background in International Relations, she brings a problem-solving and communications-focused mindset to her role. She is a people-person, passionate about building relationships with others and collaborating to deliver successful results for clients. When not at work, Sufi can be found on the cheapest Ryanair flight out of the country. She also loves watching movies and trying new restaurants around London.

Redfern
Operations Executive
Since graduating in media production in 2017 Paige has wanted to pursue a career in the media industry and to be able to develop skills within the creative sector. Totems Leap internship gave her that opportunity. Paige as worked in progression within the Totems success team. She is already filming, designing, building events on the platform and streaming. When Paige isn’t working she is pretending to be marvel characters to keep her crazy 4 year old son entertained.

Creative Director - Platform
Richard’s experience is in graphic design, video and events. He enjoys ‘thinky’ creative tasks with colleagues and long romantic walks to the fridge without them. He likes colouring in, staying in the lines and sometimes making doodles move. He does this for business and for pleasure, sometimes even at the same time whilst making Mexican food.

Quan
Motion Graphics Designer
Peter is a multimedia designer with experience in motion graphics, video editing and onsite filming. He has worked on freelance projects creating logos where his design is still proudly used today as a t-shirt print. Besides design work Peter is also a musician who studied the piano for 9 years and self-taught himself the guitar. He is now currently taking on his next challenge – learning the violin.

A traveller with a passion for learning and getting to know different cultures. Food is her second language and she is a time-traveller when it comes to music. Her environment is the Mediterranean Sea, offering a special connection with her creativity. Some of her favourite things about working at Totem are using her creative skills to offer support for all things platform, finding creative solutions to help clients, and being the bridge between teams to provide a better user experience.

Ross
Ewing
Technical Director
Ross joined Totem in 2018 bringing a broad range of technical skills and knowledge to build software. He has developed to production and maintained multiple cross-platform applications throughout the e-commerce, fintech and entertainment sectors. Managing cross-region teams, technical planning and coding are all part of his day to day. He believes that Friday is reserved for Tommy Bahamas and whenever possible jets to India to be with his friends and colleagues, biking through the beautiful Munnar tea mountains of Kochi.
